You joined the Amazon Affiliate Program: Amazon Associates and if you are trying to add the Amazon code directly to your Blogger HTML Template you might be getting the following error message:
XML Error Message: “Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.”
or “The reference to entity “o” must end with the ‘;’ delimiter.”
This common error is generated by the sign ampersand "&". There is a particular type of characters known as character entities that begin with ampersand "&" and finish with a semi colon ";". When the code that you are trying to insert contains this sign "&" this error occurs.
You should try replacing the ampersand sign “&” in the Amazon Code with its equivalent in the HTML language:
ASCII characters: &
HTML equivalent: &
Replace the ampersand each time it appears with &

ReplyDeleteIts fine to add them in the sidebar but actually adding them in the template requires you to do this to make it work.

No, it didn't seem to work for me. I keep getting the same error message.
ReplyDeletei tried adding the link this way..but some or the other error comes up again and again. I finally added it with html/java script widget in blogger.
